Matilde Gattoni, born in 1974, is an award-winning French-Italian photographer. She started her career in 2000 covering the second intifada in Palestine. Since then, her work has appeared in Time, The Financial Times, Der Spiegel, The Observer, Die Zeit, and GQ, among others.
