Mariusz Smiejek is a freelance photojournalist and the proud father of a three-year-old son. His work concentrates on exploring the issues of post-conflict territories and societies. He has lived in Belfast since 2010, documenting a long-term project about everyday life in Northern Ireland during its transition to peace.
