Khaula Jamil is an independent freelance documentary photographer, photojournalist and an entrepreneur. Born and raised in Karachi, she has an MFA in photography from Parsons School of Design. Her most far-reaching and popular project is the Facebook-based “Humans of Karachi”, which she started in 2012, inspired by Brandon Stanton’s “Humans of New York”.
