Christian Bobst, born in 1971 in Switzerland, studied graphic design and then worked for almost 15 years as an art and creative director for major advertising agencies in Switzerland and Germany before becoming a documentary photographer and photojournalist. From his base in Zürich, he covers stories around the world. In 2016 he was one of the prizewinners of the World Press Photo Awards.
