The Rise of Quantum Leaders

During the COVID-19 pandemic, much of our attention was focused outwards – on infection rates, global business shifts, and national policies on containment. But due to the isolation of lockdown enforced in many countries, many of us were also allowed an opportunity to focus our attention inwards. On healing. Because in one way or another, the global pandemic has hurt us all. It is in this moment of shared hurt and healing that we can begin to glimpse an even larger, more important healing process that humanity can create.

Healing is a natural holistic process that we undertake subconsciously. The body is capable of maintaining and repairing itself in ways that still remain a mystery to us. Traditional and spiritual healing practices often speak to the power of the body’s healing capacity, the wonders of which are obfuscated to us even with modern medicine. However, advances in quantum science have now shed light on some of the principles of these ancient healing practises: holism and natural alignment. What does this intersection of science and spirituality mean? It means that the power of consciousness and intention can drastically influence our health outcomes; that sickness comes from a misalignment between thoughts, intentions and actions which we can all actively work to remedy.

By cultivating our own wellbeing, we can strive for alignment between these factors. The human body is a complex system of more than 37 trillion cells, working together seamlessly to bring about synchrony in our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects. Therefore, alignment is a natural process within all of us, and external interventions from doctors, therapists, traditional and spiritual healers are all modes to augment the body’s natural ability to align itself and heal when we live asynchronously from our natural rhythms. Thankfully, these rhythms can be restored through choice alone – after all, choices are thoughts and intentions that carry energy to manifest change. When directed introspectively, they can aid the process of alignment, sparking healing from within.

Through simply taking the time to learn or relearn love for ourselves, we can influence our choices to result in positive change and alignment. Every one of us is capable of doing this, and it is imperative that as a global society we focus our energies on the power of positive change, because it is through positive change that we can create a humane humanity that is healed through alignment between thoughts, intentions and actions at a global scale.

Seeking holistic collaboration between individuals, communities, and societies like this must become embedded into the way we see a globalised world. The pandemic has exemplified that illness does not only impact the physical body system, but also larger systems – societies, nations and the environment. Everything from personal medication to national policy has been administered to help the healing process during the pandemic, but the healing outcomes have been far from certain – because we are in a state of systemic misalignment. Not a medical misalignment, but a different kind of pandemic, and one we are all beholden to: a crisis of human consciousness.

This crisis of consciousness manifests because of our inability to collaborate as a global system and achieve positive change. Just as the 37 trillion cells in our bodies need to move in alignment for us as human beings to be well, there exists a unified lifeform comprised of over 7 billion cells in our interconnected, globalised world – it’s called humanity. Humanity must operate in synchrony or the larger Earth system – that we are ultimately a part of – suffers. Today, because of conscious human choices, the Earth is in crisis: conflict, inequality, pollution, climate change, and even the pandemic.

We all need to take responsibility for amending the collective crisis of consciousness by creating a global collaboration, beginning with ourselves and our choices. Through positive conscious choices, we can influence our external environment for the better, both the physical systems of the planet and the sphere of consciousness that links us all. When each of us works to tune this system to synchrony, the end result will be the healing of our societies and our planet.

This challenge is the next evolutionary obstacle that we face as a species. Humans have the innate ability to flourish as long as we are at one with our environment; that is precisely what evolution is, after all: the codified ability to progressively overcome even existential challenges. By aligning ourselves to overcome this pandemic, we are taking the first steps on the road to global healing, and thus it is imperative that we pause and reflect on the incredible people already initiating this global alignment: the healers that work tirelessly to help individuals, communities, societies, and nations.

The Other Hundred Healers initiative depicts and celebrates these people – the emergence of healers from all across the world, in myriad positive manifestations, demonstrating how humanity is rising to meet the challenges of the times. This is what I call the arising of healers who are quantum leaders: the beginnings of an entire generation that will lead humanity out of this crisis and bring all systems – micro and macro – back to a state of wellbeing.

So please explore the stories of these healers and leaders. Get immersed in their circumstances and viewpoints. Seek to understand them and take inspiration from them. For you too can begin to lead the journey of global healing – starting with yourself, and the choices you make.

For this, he founded OCTAVE Institute, a comprehensive integrated life journey approach towards wellbeing.

In 2019, Fred co-authored “Quantum Leadership, New Consciousness in Business” with Chris Laszlo, published by Stanford University Press.
